Treasure Hunt

A long long time ago, there was a girl called Joyce and a boy called Tim. They lived in a village next to a forest and they were poor. They cut trees for a living and their clothes were dirty. One day, Tim woke up very early and he took an ax and wanted to cut some trees. It was dark and quiet in the forest. Tim walked very slowly and he cut trees one by one. Suddenly, he fell on the ground. When he got up, he found a big door on the ground and it was unlocked. Tim opened it and went in. He found a hall way with a lot of doors on both sides. Then, he saw a box on the hall way. He picked it up and brought it home. Tim told Joyce what had happened today and Joyce suggested that they should opened the box.

After they opened it, they saw a glass bottle and a piece of paper in it. They took out the paper. It was a map! They were happy because maybe they could be rich if they could find the treasure. The next day, Tim and Joyce took the map and went to the same forest. They opened the same door and went into it. They followed the direction of the map and went into one of the doors on the hall way. When they got in, they heared something scary. Even though they felt scared, they still wanted to find the treasure. Suddenly, a lot of snaked fell from the ceiling and they were shouting and running. They saw another door and they quickly went in. They were tired, so they sat down on the floor. When they thought they were safe, there was a huge monster coming out and he caught Joyce. Tim was scared, so he picked a rock and threw it to the monster.

The rock hit the monster in the eye and the monster covered his eye. Joyce was released and Tim held her. Suddenly, the monster turned into a key and Tim was excited. Tim picked it up quickly and kept walking. Finally, they found a treasure box and opened it with the key. They found a lot of jewels and gold. They put them in their bags. Suddenly, a glass elevator appeared. Tim and Joyce went in and the elevator closed the door and took off. When they opened their eyes, they were already in their house. After that, they become rich and happy.

Graduated

   Lost Monday, we graduate from our elemantory school. My friends and I were so nervous and sad. When the graduation ceremony started, some girls started crying. Because they’re going to study in a different school. I was so sad to hear this news. When the gradution ceremony was over. I started feeling nostalgic. I remembered when we were in fifth grade, our teacher said “Class dismissed.” And we all ran and played a game called “Ghost hunt men.” During that time. We all thought that we would always be together and nothing would. Now I wish I could return to past, but I know it’s impossible to go back. That’s why some people say, “Time is money.” My best friend Alice studied in a different junior high school from me, I am really sad about it.

  We met 8 years ago and were always in the same class. Alice treated me so well. When she had snacks or a new toy, I was always the first person to taste it or play with it. Alice likes dancing, but I don’t. Every afternoon we always stayed at school and I played the piano and she danced. She is really smart, kind, and beautiful. Everyone like her. She sometimes made jokes when I was sad. She tried to cheer me up, when I was unhappy. I have another friend called Sarah. She likes singing, but I’m bad at singing. But she never laughs at me. I met her 4 years ago and Alice, Sarah and I are good friends now.

  We three played together all the time. She couldn’t play with us in the afternoons because she had an English class. Sarah is really smart. She studies with me in the same junior high school. One day, when we were in elementary school, Sarah didn’t have her English class, so we played together in the afternoon for a really long time. Because Alice and I have no chance to play together anymore, I wish I could meet new friend like her in high school. Our classmates and teacher went to a hot pot restaurant and had dinner together the girls sat together. The food there was so delicious. We will not have a lot chance together and I miss her a lot.

My Graduation Trip

   Last month, my classmates and I went for our graduation trip. The night before the trip, I was so excited that I could not sleep well, I arrived at the school early next morning. We got up the coach and began our trip. Along the way, we sang songs and played games. We were very happy. Few hours later, we arrived at the National Museum of Natural Science, Taichung. We saw many exhibits including a Mummy. After lunch, we headed south to south Taiwan. Soon, we arrived at Tainan. We had a historical tour around the Anping Fort and Chinkan Tower. In the evening, we had a campfire at the hotel where we stayed. It was a wonderful night where we had lots of fun. The next morning, we went to E-Da Theme park. There were so many facilities that we could play.

   First, we played the Super Water Battle. We almost lost our voice because we screamed so much throughout the ride. We also played the merry-go-round, Ferris wheel, roller coaster and many more. In the evening, we went to the Love River, Kaohsiung. We cruised along the river on a boat. It was breezy and we really enjoyed the beautiful scenery. On the third day, we went to National Science and Technology Museum. We watched a 3D movie about space junk. After lunch, we headed for the chelungpu Fault Preservation Park, Nantou. There we saw the destructive effect of the September twenty-first earth quake. Then we were on our way home. The trip only losted three days and two nights. I took a lot of photos and bought some souvenirs too. I had a good time. It was a trip that I would never forget.

To: Human   From: Cockroach kingdom

Attention Humans, we, the cockroaches declare war with all humankind. You have been chasing us away with your bug sprays and plastic flip-flips. Why do you hate us so much? Is it because we eat waste and garbage? It is so unfair! Stray dogs and cats eat garbage, too! Why do you have mercy on them, but not on us? So, humans, you should fear us. For we, the cockroaches have been trained and taught to fight with you. Do not look down on us. We have rebuilt our king down and gained super naturals powers. Next time you see us, and are ready to kill us with your flip-flips, aim correctly. Our teleport-tation abilities will make you go crazy. As for the bug spray, don’t get too excited.

Oar king has invented special invisible masks. We are not afraid of the bug spray anymore! Ha! Humans! Get ready! It’s time for us to do battle with you. We are willing to die for our kingdom. If you see us in the future, you better ran or we will fly toward you with fire and you will get burnt. Be careful, we have make poison liquid with our brothers and sisters that will kill you if you touch it. Your skin will itch and you will go blind if it touches your eyes. When you walk, do not try to step an us with your flip-flips. Our kin men knives will not just break your flip-flips, but also your feet bone too. And humans, you every where on this may hear this big earth! Hooray before we take for cockroaches over the earth. “Hooray for cockroaches. We will live forever!”

What Do You Like To Do?

   Welcome to Sesame Street! Ernie is a reporter. He likes to interview the Muppets on Sesame Street. He planed to ask them what they liked to do in their free time. First, Ernie came to Bert’s orange juice stand. Bert said he liked to make orange juice for his friends. Second, Ernie walked into Cookie Monster’s house. There were thousands of cookies and those were Cookie Monster’s favorite food. He said, ”I like to bake cookies, eat cookies, bake cookies and eat cookies, Yum! Yum! Yum! ” Third, Ernie walked by the park and saw Sesame Street’s superstar-Elmo. He told Ernie his favorite thing to do was to play on the swing. Then, Ernie came to Big Bird. It was kind of him that he liked to help his friends all the time. When they had troubles, Big Bird was happy to be with them.

   After that, Ernie came to Oscar the Grouch’s dirty home, the stinkiest place on the Earth. It’s so stinky that Ernie need to wear a mask to interview him. Oscar said he liked to collect garbage. “Oh…, it smells sooo good,” he said. After Ernie said good-bye to Oscar, he came to Prairie Dawn’s classroom. She said she enjoyed studying different kinds of dinosaurs. Then, Ernie walked by the park again and saw Betty Lou. She told him her favorite activity was jumping rope. She did it when she had free time. After that, Ernie saw Grover by the lake. He told Ernie that he liked to play with the little lamb. “One, two, three…”The count was counting the stars in the sky when Ernie came to him. He said, “I like to count everything I see around me. Ha! Ha! Ha!” Finally, Ernie told everybody that he liked to play with his favorite toy. Rubber Duckie, “thank you, everyone.” This is Ernie. Signing off. Good-bye from Sesame Street.
