My Hometown
I am from a small, friendly and beautiful town
called Beipu. It is located near Lion
Head Mountain
in Hsinchu. In the town, there are lots of tea farms on the hill. That’s why it
is famous for a kind of Oolong tea called Oriental beauty. While drinking a cup
of nice tea, you can also have a piece of delicious taro cake. It’s my favorite
snack. When you visit Beipu in spring, you get to see gorgeous Tung flowers.
They look like snow falling to the ground. Moreover, you can find lots of Hakka
food in the stores on the traditional streets. They are really tasty. The
temples in my hometown are really amazing. There are many great art works there
too! My town, Beipu, is a wonderful and lovely place.
