Little Rain Drop

I am a little rain drop with many brothers and sisters. We were sent to the ground for our mission. Everyone was looking forward to joining this brand-new adventure. Initially, we landed on headwaters in the mountain. The river was clear and there were various plant and animals. Our mission is to supply water to maintain lives around the world. Due to our help, everyone will grow strong and healthy. However, things changed when we got to the downstream. There were not only buildings but also factories everywhere. Animals became homeless because their habitats are badly damaged. And for economic development, people kept doing harm to our environment, for example, people poured dirty water into the river, that made us become black and smelly, and it also cause marine animals death. Poisonous gas released into the air by factories brought about air pollution and acid rain.

   Then, we reached to the sea. What we saw was not as blue and clear as we expected, but dirty water with many trash floating on. The sea resources were nearly used up because of human’s destruction. People got everything profitable from the environment. That’s why natural resources were decreasing. We couldn’t ignore their greed, so we warned people by disaster like tsunami or big rainstorm. In recent year, we found out that people have realized the importance to protect the environment. They started some action to save our world, for example, doing recycle or saving energy. It is time for the sky and inform change. From this journey should protect the earth. The world that makes the us to get back to our mission and human’s I learned that everyone. There is no money in destruction excusable.
