Home Sweet Home

   On an island, deep in the jungle lived John the monkey and Alan the giraffe. They were good friends. They loved to do things together. While John was swinging from tree to tree, Alan was running through the trees. This is the way they had a race and they loved it the best. However, they got bored in the jungle. So, they decided to move to a new place. First, they rowed a boat to the sea. They felt it was so interesting because the wind rocked the boat left to right and right to left. But soon, they felt so seasick and threw up, so they rowed to shore. Then, they got to the desert. “Oh, John! It’s so hot and dry here. I’m thirsty and I can’t find leaves. There are only spines on cacti,” Alan grouched. ”That’s nothing, Alan. My face is just as red as my bottoms, see, “John shouted.“ Let’s get out of here!” They both cried and ran fast to the nearby forest. When they rested under a big tree, a family of skunks met them and felt scared. So, they gave off stinky smell. “Ouch, you yucky monsters,” John and Alan jumped on their feet and ran away. Finally, they returned to the jungle. When John and Alan saw beautiful bananas and yummy green leaves on the trees, they smiled like flowers and cried. “Home sweet home.”
