Vicky was a great baker. She made tasty cake and lovely pie.

This year was a bad year for her country. The weather was so hot that fruits didn’t grow and cows didn’t produce milk. Many children in her town were hungry because they didn’t have enough food to eat. So, Vicky decided to make a super big pie for those kids. To make the pie, she traveled to different countries to get what she needed.

First, she flew to Indonesia to get cinnamon. There she saw the smoke from a volcano. After that, she went to Myanmar to pick lemons. In one of the small towns, people were poor, but they were happy and loved to share. That made her so touched. Then, she went by plane to Holland for milk. A farmer, Joe, was very nice. He taught Vicky how to milk the cow and make cheese.

For the last stop, she got to the U.S.A for apples. She also visited the “Big Apple,” New York. Finally, she come back with everything and made the super big apple pie. When the pie was ready, she invited all the children in her town to enjoy it. While the kids were eating the nice pie, Vicky told them everything about her travel. When she saw kids enjoy her pie and stories, she said, “Sharing is a beautiful thing!”
